Content marketing is a strategic approach of delivering relevant and important information and content to a specific group of people in order to attract and retain a new audience and drive profitable customer action. The main idea of this method is to provide truly relevant and useful content to the prospects and customers in order to help them solve their issues. At M&C group, we believe that content is the present and future of marketing, and behind every successful campaign there is a heart-melting story of adversity and determination to build a better future, or basically to increase awareness of a specific problem.
Of course, not all content has to tell a story, but instead of this storytelling is a very important element of content marketing.
We divide content marketing strategies into two types: outbound and inbound content strategies. Outbound strategies are those that “interrupt” the audience and, due to this fact, they are less effective than inbound marketing strategies. Inbound marketing is a strategy that helps business to reach audiences in a natural and narrative way, telling a story. This strategy helps marketers to create content that feels authentic and engaging. Inbound content marketers are trying to diversify their attempts to attract audience attention by means of different types of content such as blogs, longform content, case studies, white papers, ebooks, infographics, templates, checklists, and videos.
